At Squamish United Church, we offer a welcoming and nurturing space for children (grades 1-8) through our weekly Children’s Church program. Each week, children are invited to explore biblical and sacred stories in a way that is engaging and meaningful. Our programming includes a fusion of activities such as videos, games, crafts, drama, music, prayer, and candle lighting, all designed to help children connect with their faith in interactive and creative ways. We create a space where kids feel valued and supported, allowing them to build a deeper connection to their spirituality.

Children’s Church at Squamish United Church is more than just learning about faith—it’s a place where church meets real-life experiences. We support children in applying the lessons they learn to their daily lives, helping them navigate their world with love, kindness, and understanding. Through storytelling, hands-on activities, and a sense of community, children are encouraged to grow in their faith journey in a safe and caring environment. Parents can expect that their children will leave each week with new experiences, spiritual growth, and a sense of belonging.

Once every few months, we also offer Intergenerational Services where children take an active role in leading worship to share their gifts.  Highlights include Rally Sunday (September) Worldwide Communion (October), Children's Sunday (November), Christmas Celebration (December), Easter (March/April), Pentecost (June) and more.

We also have special spaces for children including a large classroom, outdoor playground and their own children's lounge for a time of fellowship after each service. Please join us Sunday mornings at 10:05 am (because we know you are running late!)

Please reach out to our Sunday School Coordinator Elizabeth Kerr to elizabth.kerr@gmail.com if you have any questions.
